The Big Plant

The Big Plant is a coordinated regional initiative to transform the Milwaukee River Basin by empowering residents to plant trees that enhance stormwater management.

By reducing barriers to small-scale and residential tree planting, this program will enable impactful environmental stewardship and improved urban canopy in our neighborhoods and waterways!

Renters must have permission to plant

FREE trees have a limited quantity and may sell out. However, discounted trees will be available in addition to the FREE trees if you’d like to purchase more. Discounted trees are 20% off our standard Retail price.
